1. The Baptism of Lydia

Paul, Luke, Lydia, Silas, Slave Girl with Gift of Divination, Donkey, Daughters 1, 2, and 3, Sons 1 and 2.

piano or keyboard. We added guitar and violin.

SYNOPSIS: "The Baptism of Lydia" conflates two short tales from Acts 16:13-16. One concerns the conversion of Lydia, a seller of purple cloth, and one involves a woman possessed with a "spirit of divination."

2. Talent Tale
a tiny musical play based on Matthew 25:14-30
music and libretto by Susan Hulsman Bingham
and children of the Episcopal Church of the Mediator Sunday School

CAST:

Jesus/Master, Servants 1, 2, 3, and 4, Biblical ATM Machine (child sits in box and functions as an ATM machine. Great part for child with Aspberger's or autism)

piano or keyboard, wood block (optional)

PROPS:
usual biblical costumes and simple, homemade props including a carton large enough to house a child. Set of about 12 large gold cardboard "coins"
